Make sure to cover those pipes! Outdoor spigots can be saved from the cold by covering them up.

Most of North Texas just went through another unusual winter storm. We all seem to be a little more prepared for this storm. That being said, there are a few pointers we can pass along to our Residential and Commercial customer alike. Here are a few bullet points that may help in keeping your investment safe.

  • Keep heat above 62 degrees if possible
  • Allow faucets to drip in area that will not allow proper temps
  • Wrap all exposed pipes and faucets
  • Open cabinet drawers on all external walls to allow ambient heat in

The above are a few good pointers to go by. Check your property for ay water or damp areas. It is always good to check your property for any external water running from the structure. If you feel you may still have an issue, the best way to make sure is to check your meter. Make sure that all water sources are not being used. If the meter is still turning, it will let you know that there is a leak of some kind.
