Roofs, water pipes, gutters and fire safety systems should all be inspected to help ensure they are operating properly. Gutter downspouts should direct drainage away from your building, which also helps protect your foundation. Also, be sure to have your gutters cleared of any debris that may have gathered throughout the fall months. Leaves and other obstructions accumulate and cause a damming effect in gutters, which can lead to roof problems and interior water damage.
Check your business or home property for downed tree limbs. Inclement weather such as wind, heavy rain, ice and snow can cause damage to property or personal injury.
