Home Experiences Water Heater Leak

The owner of this home experienced water damage caused by a leaking water heater. The homeowner had a plumber come out and fix the leak and wanted us to come out and dry the structure. When our SERVPRO Of Kaufman County/Cedar Creek technicians arrived on site, we extracted any remaining standing water in the affected areas and sprayed an antimicrobial to all the affected materials. We removed all unsalvavgable materials including laminate in the hallway as pictured above, as well as baseboards. We were able to dry the affected areas completely using our Dehumidifiers and air movers and the homeowner was very happy with us.
