Water Damage in Shoe Store

Water damage to this commercial store was caused by sewage backup. The owner of the property called SERVPRO Of Kaufman County/Cedar Creek to come out and dry the structure. When we arrived on site our SERVPRO Of Kaufman County/Cedar Creek technicians secured the affected area and began extracting any remaining water. After the remaining water was removed, We removed the affected carpet in the lobby area, hall, and supply room due to contaminated water. Our crews then removed  portions of drywall in order to dry the affected areas properly using our dehumidifiers and air movers. Once the store was dry completely, we sprayed antimicrobial spray and taped off the cut off carpet. The owner was very pleased with the results and was glad we finished in such a timely manner.
