Storm Damage Caused By Hail Storm

This home located in Kemp, TX suffered from water damage after a hail storm at the beginning of 2016. The homeowner noticed water in her home after the hail caused holes in the roof as well as a few broken windows throughout the house. Due to their being holes in the roof, the attic was the only area affected by the water. When our SERVPRO Of Mesquite technicians arrived, we picked up the remaining broken glass outside of the home (as pictured above) wearing our safety gloves for protection and removed 4 bags of wet insulation from the attic. After the insulation was removed, we set 6 fans to dry the drywall and studs. We were able to restore the home to pre-condition which made the customer very happy.
